About The Program:

We are attempting to put refurbished desktop and laptops in the hands of families and students in need so that their kids can access their school's e-Learning and reconnect with their school friends. The goal of this program is assist those families affected by COVID-19 who may have lost the financial stability due to loss of income and are unable to provide a computer to their child to complete their school's required e-Learning. 1 computer donated per family.  Due to the volume of request we may not be able to fulfill yours right away.   If we can't, we will add you to our wait list to receive a device as soon as one is available and ready for pickup.

We are breathing a little extra life into machines we have acquired from corporate hardware refreshes as well as publicly donated machines, and donating our time/labor/money to get all devices in working order for a student to utilize. All machines that come in are being thoroughly physically cleaned and disinfected, hard drives wiped or replaced/destroyed, hardware and OS upgraded to our recommended specs, and then paired to a child/family in need. If we come across hardware that is below spec, or no longer useful, any data is destroyed and the device is recycled through our electronics recycling partner: Green Earth (https://www.greenearth1.com/)

Making A Donation:

- Please contact us to let us know when to expect you and how many items or peripherals you might be bringing.
- If you are unsure if your computer is worth while to someone, you can either contact us with the model number or bring it in and we will assess it.
- If you would like to simply recycle your non-usable electronics, we ask you hold on to them until the COVID lockdowns lift and then bring them to us. We will make sure all data is destroyed before recycling.

- Desktops (preferably shipped with Windows 7 or newer)
- LCD Monitors
- Web Cams & Printers
- Keyboards and Mice
- Small Cash Donations (to assist with miscellaneous hardware needs, software licensing)

Please Note: We are not a non-profit organization and are simply trying to do our part to help out the community. As such, any donations will not be tax deductible.

We have a handful of refurbished desktops and laptops available for free to any local kid/family who needs a way or better way to do their e-learning amidst all the Covid repercussions. ASKING FOR DONATIONS.

Thank you! Thank you to everyone who has helped us spread the word about matching refurbished computers with students doing e-learning who need them. The response has been absolutely amazing. Currently though, we are getting donation request beyond what our existing inventory can fulfill. We have been receiving steady request from New Carlisle, Rolling Prairie, Niles, and intend to keep trying to fulfill as many as we can throughout the Michiana area during this pandemic.
